Thin pizza
The homeland of this culinary cosmopolitan is Italy. Initially, pizza was a flatbread covered with tomatoes and cheese. Later, its filling became more varied as more countries and cultures adapted this dish to national habits and preferences. Thus, its American version has grown in size and included fruits, mushrooms, meat and even nuts. Maltese - was improved by the cheese product "jebeina".
Indians add cottage cheese, tandoori chicken and, of course, local spices. In Japan it is prepared with seafood and vegetables. And these are not all the species into which this Italian invention evolved during the “conquest” of the globe. However, there is one common requirement for the appearance of such different product formulations - minimum thickness. Thin pizza recipes are varied. Some recommend eliminating yeast to reduce volume, others recommend using a special type of flour and butter, and others suggest using a heavy rolling pin and physical effort for this purpose. A variety of fillings, thousands of combinations of ingredients, many sauces only confirm one thing: often, the main thing in this dish is the dough!
