  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Sift the flour through a sieve into a wide bowl in which it will be convenient to knead the dough. Thanks to sifting, it will be saturated with oxygen, and the finished dough will be more tender.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

In a separate bowl, beat the egg with a fork or whisk until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Make a well in the flour, pour in the beaten egg and mix lightly.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

    Add warm water.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Then add olive oil to make the dough softer and more elastic.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Mix everything first with a spoon, then knead the dough with your hands. Remember that you may need less or more flour, you can read more about this in the article, the link to it is at the end of this recipe. The dough should be soft and not sticky to your hands. Wrap it in cling film or cover with a towel and leave to “rest” for 30 minutes. During this time, the gluten will swell and the dough will become more pliable.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

For tomato sauce, you can use any spices and herbs you want. Homemade sauce can be replaced with ketchup or another sauce option.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Peel the garlic and cut into thin slices.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

In a small frying pan, lightly heat the olive oil and place the garlic cloves on it. Simmer the garlic over low heat, turning, for about 1 minute. This will give the oil a light piquant aroma. If you want to enhance the spicy taste of the sauce, you can chop the garlic more finely or grate it. Remove the garlic from the pan.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Add tomato paste to the pan and stir. Warm the paste over low heat for about 1 minute, stirring.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Pour water into the pan and stir.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Add salt, sugar, basil and mix again. Bring the sauce to a boil.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Simmer the sauce over low heat until thickened, about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove the pan from the heat, cover with a lid and let the sauce sit for a while.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Prepare the ingredients for the filling. They can be anything depending on desires and tastes. Use the prepared tomato sauce when it has cooled. You can use any cheese. Turn on the oven at 200 degrees in advance.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Roll out the dough into a thin round layer, form small sides. It is convenient to do this directly on parchment.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Brush the dough with olive oil.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

    Then apply tomato sauce.

  19. STEP 19

    STEP 19

Cut the carbonade (sausage or bacon) into thin slices and place evenly on the dough.

  20. STEP 20

    STEP 20

Wash the mushrooms, dry and cut into thin slices. Add mushrooms to filling.

  21. STEP 21

    STEP 21

Wash the tomato, dry it, cut into thin slices. Place tomato slices over the filling.

  22. STEP 22

    STEP 22

Grind the cheese on a fine grater.

  23. STEP 23

    STEP 23

Sprinkle grated cheese on top of pizza.

  24. STEP 24

    STEP 24

Bake the pizza in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes until lightly browned. Your exact cooking time and temperature may vary. Read more about how to choose the right baking time and temperature in the article. The link is at the end of the recipe.

  25. STEP 25

I really liked the dough on this pizza. In its raw form it is pliable and soft. In the form, I easily and simply stretched it with my hands. When ready, the dough is tasty with a crispy edge, baked perfectly and not hard at all. I will use this dough in other types of pizza) The sauce is also very tasty, aromatic, rich! For the filling I used boiled chicken, tomatoes and bell peppers, and a little regular cheese. The filling turned out very juicy and tasty. Garlic and basil taste good. There’s only one thing that upset me... not enough) Now I’ll cook it right away on a large baking sheet!

I just love pizza. Even more than pies, cakes and pies. I usually cook it with mushrooms, chicken, Dutch cheese, in the summer more with Dutch cheese and tomatoes. Pizza is an excellent snack for both the holiday table and the usual everyday one. Ketchup adds pizza has a special, refined taste. However, I personally use it only in winter, when tomatoes are unacceptably expensive.

But for my taste, it’s better not to grease the pizza with tomato paste, but to mix everything together with two tablespoons of sour cream and a spoonful of ketchup and grease the pizza.
