Pizza Caesar in the oven with yeast dough

Fans of quality pizza will not be able to pass by this recipe! I found this recipe on the Internet and did not change anything in it. Please immediately note that in this recipe the ingredients for the dough are for 3 pizzas, and the ingredients for the filling and sauce are for one! Without false modesty, I will immediately say that before this pizza, I was sure that I had already tasted the most delicious pizza. It turned out not. This Caesar pizza turned out to be tastier than many others I've ever tried. A very good dough recipe, which convinced me that olive oil should not be replaced with any other oil in the dough, because it is with olive oil that the dough turns out especially tasty, tender, crispy on the edges, and tender on the inside. This dough easily stretches to the desired size, and when finished it does not become rubbery even when cooled. The filling is good too, but the Caesar dressing is what really makes this recipe special! Give it a try, pizza fans! I'm sure you will like this recipe.

Step-by-step preparation

Cooking timeCooking time: 2 hr 30 mins
  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

Products for testing. It is better to take both regular wheat flour and special flour for pizza (You may ask: why? Answer: pizza flour has a higher gluten content. Ideally, pizza flour is made from grains with a gluten content of 12-14.5%, and sometimes even 10 ‒11% Products made from it will have a crispy edge, and the inside will be tender, not rubbery). We take warm water, 35-39 degrees (not warmer, otherwise the yeast will die and the dough will not work). This amount of dough will make 3 pizzas!

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

We dilute the yeast thoroughly in warm boiled water so that there are no lumps left.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Mix wheat flour and pizza flour and sift through a sieve.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

We collect the sifted flour into a mound and make a depression in the center of the mound, pour olive oil into it and add salt.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Knead the dough, kneading everything with your hands from the edges to the center and gradually adding warm boiled water with yeast dissolved in it into the flour.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The result is a pliable, elastic dough. Let's collect it into a ball.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Then we divide the pizza dough into three equal parts and roll each part into a ball. Cover the pizza dough with a clean towel and leave it for 1 hour. During this time it will increase approximately 2 times. After this, the dough can be used to make pizza.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

    Preparing ingredients for Caesar sauce.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Grind the cheese on a fine grater, finely chop the garlic and anchovies.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

In a separate container, whisk the egg yolk and gently mix all the ingredients for the sauce until smooth, without beating.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Products for filling. We sort out the romaine lettuce, wash it, and drain it. First boil the chicken breast in salted water until tender. Take one of the pieces of the already risen pizza dough. Its average weight is 210-250 grams.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Grate Parmesan. We tear the Romaine lettuce randomly into small fragments with our hands and season with Caesar dressing.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Using your fingers, stretch a circle of dough onto the work surface. We get a thin round pancake 30 cm in diameter.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

We carefully transfer it to a baking sheet, adjusting the edge so that it looks neat and round.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Spread Caesar sauce on top of the dough, sprinkle with grated Mozzarella cheese and pieces of chicken breast. Place in the oven.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Thin crust pizza in pizzerias is baked in a special pizza oven at 400 degrees until fully cooked. I baked it in a regular oven at 250 degrees until golden brown.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Cut the finished pizza into eight pieces using a sharp pizza knife. Place the dressed Caesar salad on top of the pizza. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top of the Caesar salad. Grease the edges of the pizza with olive oil. That's it, Caesar pizza is ready! Enjoy :)...

Mama of the sweet tooth, thank you for such a delicious pizza! There are so many delicious ingredients in it, the taste probably broke all records of pizza tastes! And since I am a fan of pizza on a fluffy base, and not on a thin one with toppings drowning in it, I will still leave all the ingredients for the dough not for three, but for one pizza! I'm heading to KK - I'll definitely make this delicacy! Thanks for the recipe!

Great recipe, amazing dish! In my opinion, real pizza should be thin. This is the beauty of it. I've never liked thick dough. I will now make it according to your recipe.
