STEP 1
How to make zucchini pizza from zucchini in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I took boiled smoked pork, any sausage or ham will do. Parsley can be replaced with dill or green onions.
STEP 2
What kind of zucchini works best? Choose young fruits with delicate skin. Wash them and peel them. It is not necessary to cut off very thin skin. If using more mature zucchini, trim off the rough skin and cut out the center. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater and squeeze out excess juice.
STEP 3
Transfer the squash mixture to a suitable sized bowl. Add eggs, salt. Stir until smooth.
STEP 4
Wash the greens, dry, finely chop.
STEP 5
Add greens to the dough, stir.
STEP 6
Sift the flour mixed with baking powder into a bowl, add semolina, mix well. The amount of flour can be more or less. It all depends on its properties. So sift a little more flour in case you need to add more. Focus on the desired consistency of the dough. It should be thick, like pancakes. STEP 7
Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave for 20 minutes so that the gluten in the flour separates and the semolina swells.
STEP 8
Cut the meat (or sausage) into thin slices.
STEP 9
Grate the cheese on a fine or coarse grater. Any cheese that melts well will do. You can use a mixture of hard cheese and mozzarella.
STEP 10
The dough will thicken noticeably, become less fluid and more viscous.
STEP 11
It is convenient to use a special baking pan for pizza. I have a regular springform d=22 cm. Cover the mold with parchment. Regardless of the quality of the parchment, grease it with vegetable oil to make it easier to remove after baking.
STEP 12
Sprinkle the top of the dough evenly with basil or any aromatic herbs to taste. A mixture of Provençal and Italian herbs is suitable.
STEP 13
Place the meat slices.
STEP 14
Take tomatoes that are dense and fleshy so that when cutting and baking they retain their shape well. Then the pizza will be more accurate. Wash the tomato, dry it, cut it into slices with a sharp knife. Place tomato slices on the meat.
STEP 15
Top the pizza evenly with grated cheese.
STEP 16
Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for about 25 minutes. Your time and temperature may differ from those indicated, as everyone's ovens operate differently. If a golden cheese crust has formed on top, and the dough has set on the bottom and the edges have turned golden, then the pizza is ready. Remove the pizza pan from the oven and let it cool slightly.
STEP 17
Once cooled, transfer the pizza to a plate, cut into slices and serve. Bon appetit!
