  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make zucchini pizza from zucchini in the oven? Prepare the necessary ingredients. I took boiled smoked pork, any sausage or ham will do. Parsley can be replaced with dill or green onions.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

What kind of zucchini works best? Choose young fruits with delicate skin. Wash them and peel them. It is not necessary to cut off very thin skin. If using more mature zucchini, trim off the rough skin and cut out the center. Grate the zucchini on a coarse grater and squeeze out excess juice.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Transfer the squash mixture to a suitable sized bowl. Add eggs, salt. Stir until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the greens, dry, finely chop.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Add greens to the dough, stir.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Sift the flour mixed with baking powder into a bowl, add semolina, mix well. The amount of flour can be more or less. It all depends on its properties. So sift a little more flour in case you need to add more. Focus on the desired consistency of the dough. It should be thick, like pancakes. If the dough is not thick enough, add another spoonful of flour. Read about the properties of flour and baking powder in the articles below the steps.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Cover the bowl with the dough with a towel and leave for 20 minutes so that the gluten in the flour separates and the semolina swells.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Cut the meat (or sausage) into thin slices.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Grate the cheese on a fine or coarse grater. Any cheese that melts well will do. You can use a mixture of hard cheese and mozzarella.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

The dough will thicken noticeably, become less fluid and more viscous.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

It is convenient to use a special baking pan for pizza. I have a regular springform d=22 cm. Cover the mold with parchment. Regardless of the quality of the parchment, grease it with vegetable oil to make it easier to remove after baking.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Sprinkle the top of the dough evenly with basil or any aromatic herbs to taste. A mixture of Provençal and Italian herbs is suitable.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

    Place the meat slices.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Take tomatoes that are dense and fleshy so that when cutting and baking they retain their shape well. Then the pizza will be more accurate. Wash the tomato, dry it, cut it into slices with a sharp knife. Place tomato slices on the meat.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Top the pizza evenly with grated cheese.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Bake in an oven preheated to 180C for about 25 minutes. Your time and temperature may differ from those indicated, as everyone's ovens operate differently. Read more about this in the article at the end of this recipe. How to check readiness? If a golden cheese crust has formed on top, and the dough has set on the bottom and the edges have turned golden, then the pizza is ready. Remove the pizza pan from the oven and let it cool slightly.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Once cooled, transfer the pizza to a plate, cut into slices and serve. Bon appetit!

I really like original dishes made from familiar products. And, in my opinion, “oven zucchini pizza” is just that. An unusual and at the same time quite simple recipe! I weighed all the products, except for a medium-sized zucchini, using a kitchen scale and generally followed the cooking technology (I even added parsley to the dough and sprinkled dry basil on top, as in the recipe). I squeezed the zucchini before kneading the dough, but it did not release much liquid, then I added the remaining ingredients - salt, eggs, semolina and flour with baking powder. The dough turned out very liquid. Therefore, I immediately want to give advice - it is better to first salt the grated zucchini, it will release juice, and only then squeeze it out, so the dough will be more viscous. But even if this is not done, the zucchini dough usually stabilizes in the finished products after cooling (many times I fried zucchini pancakes with a more liquid dough than in this dish, where it was necessary to pour the dough into the frying pan, the pancakes turned out very tender, they need to be It was necessary to carefully turn them over with a spatula and carefully remove them from the pan, but after cooling they became dense and elastic). Another important point - you need to grease the mold well with vegetable oil. I used an ovenproof tart pan and found it very convenient for this type of pizza. Lubricated it generously with oil. After cooling, it was convenient to remove the sliced pizza pieces using a metal spatula. Well, and most importantly, everyone was satisfied with the dinner, a very tasty unusual dish! Thanks for the recipe, it's amazing!

Probably this is the basis - the flatbread is delicious even without the top layers, with sour cream :)

It didn’t work out for me(((I’m not a particularly experienced cook, I don’t have a trained eye... and it played a cruel joke on me. I poured it according to the recipe. As a result: liquid zucchini(((kept it longer than expected((( “pizza" stuck. Now I understand that I should have added more flour than indicated in the recipe... I transferred good products and was upset
