Stuffed peppers with rice, minced meat and cabbage

STEP 1

Wash and peel all vegetables, remove seeds from peppers, soak rice.
STEP 2

We start with minced meat. After defrosting, add chopped onion, rice, egg and spices (I used salt and pepper). Mix all this well.
STEP 3

We stuff our peppers.
STEP 4

Next we do the frying. Grate the tomatoes into a puree (if you have tomato paste, then just add 1 tbsp)
STEP 5

Chop the onion, grate the carrots
STEP 6

Pour oil into a deep frying pan, once hot, add onion, fry for 2 minutes
STEP 7

Then carrots, fry for 2 minutes
STEP 8

Next is the tomato or tomato paste. We don’t fry too much either.
STEP 9

Since I love vegetables, I added cabbage to this recipe. But this is not necessary.
STEP 10

Fry the peppers
STEP 11

Fill with hot boiled water. I also added coarsely chopped cabbage. That's all, then simmer until done. 5 minutes before readiness, add salt and bay leaf. Pierce the pepper with a fork; if it is soft, the dish is ready. Bon appetit!
