I love cabbage rolls, but I’ve never eaten cabbage itself, I don’t like boiled cabbage) And then I found a recipe for baked cabbage rolls, without much hope I decided to try it. And a miracle happened! I really liked the cabbage; even the minced meat became less important. It's just incredibly delicious! For me, the most difficult thing is to boil the cabbage and remove the leaves so that they do not tear. This time I cut the stalk well and everything worked out. The main thing is not to move far from the stove so that the cabbage does not overcook. I cooled the leaves. It was also a discovery for me that you can cut off thickenings with a knife. This option suited me completely. I usually beat them with a hammer or cut them out. Wrapping the envelopes is quite easy) I used store-bought chicken minced meat, and fried onions added a piquant touch to the cabbage rolls. From the spices I took paprika, ground black pepper and a little chicken seasoning. The minced meat turned out very tasty and aromatic. For tomato filling, grind as many tomatoes in a blender. And the most delicious thing is cabbage. It became thinner after baking, and thanks to lubrication with vegetable oil, a golden brown crust appeared. Just wonderful! Now this dish will become a permanent part of our diet. I recommend!

It’s a very interesting option to put cabbage leaves under the cabbage rolls. I didn’t even think of it. What I like most in cabbage rolls is cabbage in sauce. I’ll do that now.
