  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to bake potato wedges in the oven? Take the products from the list. Select 5-6 medium sized potato tubers. Take refined vegetable (sunflower or olive) oil with a high smoke point. Choose any spices to suit your taste.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Rinse the potatoes thoroughly with a brush under running water, peel them and dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Cut the tubers into small equal-sized slices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Place the potatoes in a mold, salt and pepper, sprinkle with curry, Provençal herbs, sprinkle with refined vegetable oil and mix well. You can use ready-made spices intended for potatoes. In this case, be sure to read the ingredients on the package. If it already contains salt, take this into account when you add salt to the dish, otherwise you risk oversalting it. Place the potatoes in a baking dish.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180-200 °C and bake the potatoes for about 1 hour. Delicious potato wedges will be even crispier if you turn on the grill or fan at the end of cooking (10-15 minutes before the end of baking). Also remember that everyone's oven is different, so your time and temperature may vary. Focus on the features of your technology.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

The oven-baked potatoes turned out incredibly appetizing and aromatic. Serve hot, crispy potato wedges with meat or fish. Before serving, potatoes can be sprinkled with chopped dill. You can add garlic oil. To do this, in a small container, mix vegetable oil and garlic (2-3 cloves) passed through a press. Bon appetit!

Thank you for participating in the Best Recipe of the Week competition. Great photo. There’s nothing to complain about))))) The potatoes sparkle invitingly, the gray napkin beautifully sets off the white dish and adds color. The gray specks in the bread go well with the gray lacy napkin. Everything fits well together.

The potato wedges turned out tasty and beautiful. Only I ripened faster, in 35-40 minutes. Maybe mine was cut smaller, maybe because there was less quantity, or maybe it all depends on the oven.

If you are tired of boiled potatoes, fried potatoes and mashed potatoes, prepare potato wedges baked in the oven. This is an incredibly tasty and low-calorie dish; besides, the potatoes are cooked in the oven with a minimum amount of oil, but you can use as many spices as you like. A minimum of ingredients and effort, and the result is stunning aromas throughout the house, a universal, everyone’s favorite side dish on weekdays and holidays. The main thing here is distracting maneuvers for the household, so that they at least have time to put this deliciousness on plates, otherwise they will try to try it straight from the baking sheet. I didn’t have time to take pictures of the plates, so at least I saved them on a baking sheet for a photo shoot))). Treat yourself to potatoes with a fragrant crispy crust and an airy crumb inside!

Potato wedges baked in the oven are a dish that will be relevant on any day and on any table, everyday or festive. In our family, we like potatoes in any form, and in this version, as in the recipe, we like potatoes best. Sometimes I also sprinkle cheese on the potatoes at the end of cooking, the child really likes it this way. There is no convection or grill in my oven, so it doesn’t look very toasty. But this did not affect the taste in any way. Thanks to the author for the recipe, very tasty!
