Crumbled buckwheat in a slow cooker
Delicious, crumbly porridge with butter - simply delicious! Everyone knows about the benefits of porridge. Smeared porridges are good for breakfast, but for dinner or as a side dish, crumbly ones are just right. Very tasty porridges are made in a slow cooker. Today I prepared buckwheat porridge, but using this principle you can prepare fluffy rice, pearl barley and millet.

We wash the buckwheat and sort it if necessary. And put it in the multicooker bowl.

Add water at the rate of 1 part cereal to 2 parts water

And be sure to add butter. The butter will give the porridge a special, creamy taste. The porridge will not be dry and will not stick to the multicooker bowl.

Close the lid. Turn on the multicooker for 30 minutes in the porridge / cereals / rice / buckwheat mode and cook for 30 minutes

That's all! Delicious, aromatic, crumbly buckwheat is ready. When serving, you can add more butter or ghee to the porridge. After all, as you know, you can’t spoil porridge with oil!

My son asked me to cook buckwheat as a side dish. After looking through the recipes on the website, I found what I needed. Cooking crumbly buckwheat in a slow cooker is as quick and easy as possible. I changed the number of servings a little, I needed 1.5 cups of cereal. Buckwheat needs to be rinsed very well; I washed it 10 times until the water became clear. I poured the cereal into the multicooker bowl, added salt, butter and poured three glasses of water. The ratio of buckwheat and water is ideal. I cooked on the “cereals” program, the time is not set there, but it felt like half an hour. I used to not add butter to buckwheat, but in vain. The taste turned out to be much nicer and softer! Buckwheat is crumbly, tasty and aromatic!

IrenDV, in my list of ingredients it is indicated that if for a side dish, then sugar is not needed. And so - this porridge is tasty, crumbly, sweet
