Delicious semolina porridge with milk
Step-by-step preparation
- STEP 1 - To prepare semolina porridge with milk without lumps, take semolina, milk, salt and butter; for those who like sweets, add sugar. Also keep in mind that everyone loves porridge of different thicknesses, so determine the volume of cereal for yourself. The calculation of liquid for “standard” semolina porridge is as follows: 1 tbsp. Heaped cereals per 1 glass of water or milk. 
- STEP 2 - Pour milk and water into a saucepan and bring to a boil. 
- STEP 3 - Pour the required amount of semolina into the glass. At the moment when the milk boils, reduce the heat and, in a very thin stream, add semolina, while constantly stirring the contents of the pan. Only in this way can you avoid lumps that children hate. 
- STEP 4 - Immediately add granulated sugar, a pinch of salt, mix and remove the porridge from the heat. Cover the pan tightly with a lid and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Under the influence of steam under the lid, the porridge “reaches” and becomes thicker. 
- STEP 5 - After the time has passed, remove the lid, taste it, and add sugar and/or salt if necessary. Place on plates, adding butter. My daughter claims that semolina porridge is her favorite food!
