Simple manna cake with kefir
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to bake a simple manna cake with kefir in the oven? Prepare the products according to the list. Kefir and eggs used for the dough should be at room temperature. You can take cream of any fat content; instead of vanillin, you can use vanilla sugar. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance. Turn the oven on 180 degrees.
STEP 2
First, combine the dry ingredients in one bowl: add semolina and sugar, then sift the flour with baking powder, mix everything thoroughly.
STEP 3
Pour in kefir and stir until smooth.
STEP 4
Beat the eggs separately, not necessarily until fluffy and white.
STEP 5
Combine the eggs with the dough and leave for 10 minutes for the semolina to swell.
STEP 6
Grease a baking pan with oil and pour in the prepared dough. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 40-50 minutes.
STEP 7
Check the readiness of the cake with a wooden skewer; if it comes out dry, then the dough is ready. Remove the pan from the oven and leave the cake to cool directly in it.
STEP 8
Make the cream for the cake: combine cream, cottage cheese, sugar, vanillin and softened butter.
STEP 9
Beat the cream with a mixer, the mass should turn out a little liquid, this will depend on the fat content of the cream and the consistency of the cottage cheese. You may need more or less cottage cheese depending on its structure.
STEP 10
Remove the cooled cake from the pan and cut into 2 or 3 pieces.
STEP 11
Assemble a cake from cake layers coated with cream. If desired, you can additionally soak the cakes with sweet syrup, and also make layers of berries or fruits.
STEP 12
Sprinkle the cake with coconut flakes and leave to soak in a warm place for 2 hours, then put in the refrigerator until serving. You can decorate the finished cake to your liking with berries, fruits, nuts, etc. Enjoy your tea!
