If it is more convenient, you can first roll out the dough and then put it in the mold. If you are baking on a baking sheet, line it with parchment paper first to prevent the cake from burning.

    Place jam on the dough base and spread it over the entire surface. I have strawberry-currant jam, but any sweet and sour thick jam, marmalade or jam will do.

Thanks for such a simple recipe. I love shortbread pies, but I haven’t made this recipe yet. I was afraid to overdo it with flour and kneading time. But! Everything worked out *crazy I used strawberry jam for the pie. When it cooled down, cut it into portions. Everyone liked it. The dough itself turned out soft and crumbly.

This pie is truly delicious, despite the simplicity of the ingredients! But I still can’t understand why you need to obsessively feed your family margarine? Why not replace it with normal, high-quality butter! After all, the recipe will only benefit from this!!!
