    How to bake a quick sweet simple pie in the oven? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take a large egg. Choose any thick jam to suit your taste. Jam will also work. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance. It should be at room temperature. Sift the flour in advance. Thanks to this, the finished cake will turn out fluffier and airier.

    Beat an egg into a bowl, add sugar and add softened butter. Mix everything well. To make the dough softer, you can add a couple of tablespoons of sour cream.

    Gradually add sifted flour mixed with baking powder into the mixture and knead the dough. The shortbread dough should be soft and elastic.     Place the finished dough in a plastic bag or cling film and put it in the refrigerator for 20 minutes. Turn on the oven at 180 degrees.

    When the dough has cooled and rested, remove it from the refrigerator and divide it into two unequal parts: 2/3 and 1/3. Roll out most of it into a layer. Transfer the dough to a baking pan. You can simply put the dough in the mold and distribute it with your hands along the bottom of the mold, the thickness of the layer is about 0.5-0.7 cm.     Place the filling on the dough; I used thick strawberry jam. For flavor, I added a couple of tablespoons of tangerine jam.

The children asked to bake something sweet. I decided to make a quick sweet pie. For the filling I took red cherry plum jam. I kneaded the shortbread dough, let it rest and formed a pie out of it.
