Salad in lavash is a winning snack in every sense for any occasion. It is prepared very quickly, folds easily, and can be transported, which also makes it an ideal snack for work, outdoors, school or on the road. In addition, it does not stain the packaging - if the roll is rolled correctly.

You can carefully and beautifully roll the lavash roll with any salad of your choice. There is no rule set in stone, except one: the mixture should not be too juicy, otherwise the cake will become soggy. This is especially bad if it is intended specifically for a snack, that is, it will not be eaten immediately after preparation, but several hours later.

But making it too dry is also not good. Firstly, in this case the filling may fall out. Secondly, in combination with the same dry pita bread, it won’t be very tasty.

Different recipes for salad in lavash demonstrate their fillings and their presentation. But there are several ways to decorate this dish. That is, you can roll pita bread in the form of: a roll, an envelope, a triangle, a bag, or assemble it in the form of a layered snack cake.

For the roll, pita bread is laid out in one layer, on top of which there is a filling with indentations from the edges of 3-4 cm. These indentations can be wetted with water so that they do not open, lie tightly to each other, and stick together. Once assembled, the roll is cut into portioned circles 1.5-3 cm thick or more. It is designed to be served on a festive table - on a platter.

For portioned serving, it is better to make envelopes or small bags (like those prepared for shawarma). It makes almost no difference whether the filling is crumbly or not. If the envelope is folded correctly, nothing will fall out of it.
