  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pita bread with crab sticks and melted cheese? We will need Armenian lavash (a wheat roll will also work). For the roll filling, choose tasty and high-quality crab sticks, ripe tomatoes, processed cheese, garlic, dill (or any other herbs to taste) and mayonnaise (it’s better to make homemade, but you can use store-bought)

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Grate the crab sticks on a medium grater.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Also grate the processed cheese on a medium grater. To make it easier to grate the cheese, you can first put it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the tomato, dry it and cut it into small cubes. To prevent the pita bread from getting too soggy while it cools, it is better to remove the liquid core and seeds from the tomato.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pass the garlic through a press (you can chop it finely or finely).

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Wash the dill, dry and finely chop.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Combine crab sticks, grated cheese, herbs and garlic in a salad bowl.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

    Season with mayonnaise.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

    Mix thoroughly.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Unfold the lavash sheet. Spread the crab-cheese mixture evenly over the pita bread.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Sprinkle the pita bread evenly with tomato slices on top.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Roll the pita bread into a tight roll. Wrap the roll in cling film and place in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours to soak.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Cut the chilled roll into portions and serve. Bon appetit!

See another version of the festive lavash roll with crab sticks. Cream cheese is used instead of processed cheese.

I made a roll of pita bread with crab sticks and melted cheese for the holiday table. The combination of products is familiar to us, we love it). Instead of crab sticks, I had frozen crab meat. To avoid grating it, I used a blender. I simply broke the record into several pieces and played for about a minute. The result was textured shavings. My cheese was well grated, even though it was soft. The cheese and garlic mixture turned out to be very tasty and aromatic! I cut the tomato into cubes, and also placed the juicy center on pita bread to make it juicier. I soaked the roll for about 40 minutes, after which I cut it into pucks. The appetizer is delicious, juicy, tender! I would also rub the boiled egg in one layer for volume. Thanks for the recipe!

An excellent recipe for a roll of pita bread with crab sticks and melted cheese for a quick holiday snack! Lavash helps out in many situations; in my house it practically doesn’t translate. If you need a quick snack or unexpected guests are on the doorstep, lavash always helps out. And I’m taking this recipe into my piggy bank. My tomato was small, so I added finely chopped fresh cucumber to the filling, it turned out even juicier. I recommend!
