STEP 1
How to make a lavash roll with sausage and cheese? You need to prepare the necessary ingredients. You can use sausage according to your taste: raw smoked, boiled-smoked or boiled (Doctorskaya, Milk). I have pita bread in one long piece. If you have several small sheets, you can fold them into a large rectangle, slightly overlapping each other, or form a roll in layers, coating each with mayonnaise and sprinkling with filling.
STEP 2
Cut the sausage into small pieces or cubes.
STEP 3
Wash the tomato, dry and cut into small slices. Initially, I wanted to cut the tomatoes into thin circles, but for easier rolling, then I cut each circle into cubes. If the tomatoes are too watery, they can soak the pita bread. Therefore, it is better to remove the core from such tomatoes.
STEP 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse or medium grater.
STEP 5
Wash the greens, dry and finely chop.
STEP 6
Combine mayonnaise with herbs and a clove of garlic passed through a press. Mix everything well.
STEP 7
Spread the pita bread evenly with mayonnaise sauce. I sprinkled more chopped fresh herbs on top.
STEP 8
Place the pieces of sausage evenly on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. It is advisable to arrange the pieces of sausage so that they do not tear the pita bread during rolling. I laid them parallel to the short edge.
STEP 9
Place tomato slices on top of the cheese.
STEP 10
Roll the pita bread into a tight roll.
STEP 11
Wrap the roll in cling film or a plastic bag and place in the refrigerator for 1 hour to cool and soak.
STEP 12
Before serving, cut the roll into pieces. If desired, you can serve this roll hot. To do this, you need to brush it with beaten egg, place it on a baking sheet and bake in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 15-20 minutes until a golden brown crust appears on the surface. At the same time, you can turn on the grill mode. Bon appetit!
