Jellied pie with boiled eggs and green onions is considered one of the easiest to prepare. The most “difficult” part is preparing the filling. It is necessary to maintain proportions for it to turn out successful. Here it is better to be guided by your own tastes: some people like a large amount of onion, others will want to add it in smaller quantities. Usual proportions: for a bunch of greens there are about four to five hard-boiled eggs. Salt and pepper the filling at your discretion.
The dough can be prepared according to different recipes: with milk, sour cream, kefir, yogurt, whey, water. With or without added yeast. The oil is either butter or vegetable oil. Or you can not add it at all. The consistency of the dough may also vary from recipe to recipe. You can use semi-liquid sour cream as a guide to thickness.
The dough is divided into two equal parts. The first is poured onto the bottom of a baking sheet or mold. The filling is laid out on top in an even layer. And the second part of the dough is poured on top. It is better to bake immediately in an oven preheated to 180C. Readiness to determine as usual - with a dry match or a toothpick. The time depends on the quality and type of oven, on average about 45 minutes.
