  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make jellied pie with kefir and mayonnaise? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Peel the onion from spoiled feathers, rinse and dry. Boil the eggs for the filling hard and cool. Before use, it is recommended to wash the eggs in warm water and soda, as they may contain harmful bacteria. Turn on the oven to preheat to 180 degrees.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

    Finely chop the green onions.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Peel the eggs and grate them on a coarse grater or chop them with a knife. Add eggs to chopped onions.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Salt the onion and eggs and mix. If desired, you can add your favorite spices, such as ground black pepper. I didn't add it.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour kefir into a bowl and add mayonnaise, mix everything well. Instead of kefir, you can take liquid sour cream, fermented baked milk or fresh yogurt.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

In another bowl, beat eggs with salt until fluffy. Add them to the bowl with the mayonnaise mixture and gently stir from bottom to top.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Mix flour with baking powder and sift it through a sieve or using a special mug into a bowl with the mixture. Knead the dough. It will turn out airy and liquid. Be prepared for the fact that you may need less or more flour.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil and pour half of the dough into it. Level the surface with a spoon or spatula.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Spread the onion and egg filling over the entire surface in an even layer.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Pour the remaining dough over the filling and smooth the surface.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Place the pie in a hot oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes until done. The top should be golden brown and the wooden skewer should remain dry when pierced.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Cool and serve warm with cold milk or hot tea or coffee. Bon appetit!

I love jellied pies and this time I used the recipe: jellied pie with kefir and mayonnaise. For the filling I used cabbage and carrots. I chopped the cabbage and grated the carrots on a coarse grater. I put the cabbage and carrots in a frying pan, added salt and pepper and fried the vegetables until cooked. Mixed kefir and mayonnaise in a bowl. Beat the eggs with salt in another bowl and add to the kefir and mayonnaise. Added sifted flour with baking powder and mixed gently. I divided the dough and filling into two forms. I poured the dough into the bottom of the molds, then the filling and then the dough again. I baked it in the oven at 180° for 40 minutes. Tender dough with juicy filling - an amazingly tasty combination! I recommend trying it.
