You can beat with a whisk rather than a mixer, but it will take more time. In addition to regular sugar, you can add another 1 tsp. vanilla sugar or a pinch of vanillin. A larger amount of vanillin can add bitterness to the finished dish.

    Pour room temperature kefir and melted butter into the beaten eggs. Beat everything again until smooth.

    Add the flour sifted with soda and salt in parts. Depending on the fat content and moisture content of the kefir, the size of the eggs, and flour, you may need less or more. Therefore, you should not pour all the flour into the dough at once.

    Mix the dough with a mixer at low speed. The dough should be viscous but fluid.

    Wash the apples under running water, dry, peel and remove the core. Take the apples juicy, sweet and sour. I prefer the green-skinned varieties Granny Smith and Simerinka - they are juicy, tasty and do not darken for a long time.

    Cut the pulp into small thin slices. If you wish, you can sprinkle the apples with lemon juice, this will preserve their color and prevent them from darkening.

Leave the finished pie in the cooling oven with the door ajar for another 10 minutes. Cooking times are approximate.

I wanted apple pie, so there were a lot of apples. This recipe worked great. I cut the apples into thin slices and mixed them into the dough in parts. It turned out to be about half dough and apples. I used 1% kefir and used vegetable oil instead of butter. Added a little vanilla for flavor. I took a wide pan so that the cake would bake faster. Forty minutes was enough. The pie came out with a rich apple taste and aroma. Very juicy, moist and delicious. At the same time, my pie did not turn out high, because I took a specially wide mold. We took this pie for an autumn picnic. It's nice to drink hot tea with apple pie and enjoy the autumn colors.

A very simple, tasty, aromatic pie. I made this with apples from my garden. Sprinkled with powdered sugar and cinnamon. In 35 minutes the dough was completely baked. I definitely recommend making it!
