STEP 1

To prepare a delicious onion pie, prepare the necessary products and spices.
STEP 2

Break one chicken egg into a large bowl, then pour one hundred grams of melted butter into it.
STEP 3

Place ninety grams of finely grated hard cheese in a bowl.
STEP 4

Mix all the ingredients very well in a bowl.
STEP 5

Sift two hundred grams of wheat flour into a common bowl.
STEP 6

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and knead the shortbread dough, which we then continue to assemble with our hands.
STEP 7

Gather the dough into a ball with your hands.
STEP 8

We put the prepared dough into a mold of about twenty-three centimeters in diameter, after which we distribute it evenly and, having formed the sides, put it in the refrigerator.

Cut one kilogram of onion into fairly thin half rings and place it in a frying pan, after adding fifty grams of butter to it.
STEP 10

Pour one tablespoon of sugar into a frying pan with onions, then one teaspoon of salt and fry, stirring.
STEP 11

Place two hundred grams of 15% sour cream in a deep bowl, then pour one heaped tablespoon of cornstarch into it.
STEP 12

Pour a mixture of coarsely ground peppers into a bowl with sour cream and starch to taste.
STEP 13

Break three chicken eggs one at a time into a common bowl and mix all the ingredients.
STEP 14

Mix all the ingredients very well in a bowl until smooth, breaking up all the protein threads.
STEP 15

While stirring, fry the onion in a frying pan for ten minutes at the highest heat, then reduce the heat to low and cover the frying pan with a lid and continue to simmer the onion for another ten minutes.

Place the cooked onion from the frying pan into a deep bowl.
STEP 17

Place the prepared egg mixture in a bowl with onions and mix all the ingredients together.
STEP 18

Place the prepared filling in a mold with a dough base.
STEP 19

Distribute the filling in the mold in an even layer and place it in an oven preheated to one hundred and eighty degrees for thirty minutes, after which we reduce the oven degree to one hundred and fifty and continue baking the pie until golden brown for another thirty minutes.
STEP 20

Five minutes before it’s ready, sprinkle the top of the pie with a small amount of grated hard cheese and put it in the oven for another two to three minutes.
STEP 21

After time has passed, remove the prepared pie from the oven, after which, freeing it from the mold, place it on a plate and cut into portions.
