How to make jellied pie with green onions in the oven? Prepare your food. First for the filling. Take a lot of onions, as they lose a lot of volume during heat treatment. Boil the eggs first and cool. If you have small ones, then take 6 pieces. Instead of sour cream, you can add melted butter to the filling.
STEP 2
How to make the filling? Rinse the green onions well under running water and dry with paper towels. Then finely chop the onion.
STEP 3
How to hard boil eggs? To prevent eggs from cracking during cooking, place them in cold water and cook over low heat. Boil the eggs for 9 minutes after boiling, then cover with cold water and cool. The shell will be better cleaned from a sharp temperature change. Peel the eggs and cut them into small cubes. Or grate on a coarse grater. Next time I will grate it so that the filling is more tender and uniform.
STEP 4
Place chopped onion, eggs, sour cream, salt and pepper in a large bowl. You can also add any greens you like to the filling.

Mix all ingredients well. The filling is ready.

Now do the dough. Prepare food for him. Kefir and sour cream are suitable for any fat content.

How to make the dough? Beat 4 whole eggs into a large bowl, separate the fifth - add the white to the dough, leave the yolk to grease the top of the pie. Be sure to wash your eggs before using them, as even seemingly clean shells can harbor harmful bacteria. It is best to use food grade detergents and a brush. Whisk the eggs. Add sour cream and kefir. Stir the products until smooth.
STEP 8
Add salt and baking powder to the flour. Stir. Sift the flour into the liquid ingredients in batches, stirring in after each addition. It will take you more or less flour than mine, keep that in mind. You should get a homogeneous dough, a little thicker than for pancakes. It is important to sift the flour to saturate it with oxygen. Then the baked goods will turn out airy and rise well during baking.
STEP 9
Take a baking dish. The recipe is designed for a mold size of 24*24 cm, mine is a little smaller - 22*22, the pie turned out to be a bit tall. Grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil and sprinkle with breadcrumbs so that the cake comes out well after baking.
STEP 10
Pour half the batter into the bottom of the pan. Spread all the filling evenly on it.
STEP 11
Pour the other half of the dough over the filling. Take a spoonful of sour cream and add the remaining yolk from the dough. Mix them together and use a spatula to brush the top of the pie with the mixture. You can also sprinkle it with sesame seeds.
STEP 12
Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180°C, for about an hour. My pie took longer to bake, about 15 hours, because it was high. Keep in mind that everyone's oven is different. Cooking temperatures and times may differ from those indicated in the recipe. Determine readiness with a wooden stick - it should come out of the pie dry.
STEP 13
Cool the finished pie slightly, remove from the pan and cut into pieces. Serve with milk or tea. Bon appetit!
