How to make kefir pie with chicken? Prepare your food. You can take chicken fillet from any part of the chicken, I used breast fillet. Chilled meat will make the filling juicier. Thaw frozen fillets first. Kefir is suitable for any fat content, it is better if it is at room temperature.

First of all, prepare the filling. How to make the filling? Peel the onion and cut into thin feathers.

Wash the fillet and dry well with a paper towel. Cut it arbitrarily, I cut it into strips.

Heat vegetable oil for frying in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the onion on it until golden brown.

Add the chicken fillet to the pan and fry it, stirring, with the onion until the liquid evaporates.

Add salt.

And pepper. You can also use any spices you like. Stir. The filling is ready.

Now prepare the dough. How to make the dough? Take a deep bowl, pour kefir into it, add soda. Stir.

Then add the egg, salt, mix everything again. Then add the sifted flour in small portions and knead the dough. Be prepared that you may need more or less flour than indicated in the recipe. Focus not on the amount of flour, but on the desired consistency of the dough.

The dough should come out like thick sour cream.

Take a suitable baking dish. I have a round detachable one, 22 cm in diameter. Cover the bottom with baking paper, grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour.

Pour half the batter into the pan and spread it evenly across the bottom.

Place a layer of filling on the dough.

Fill the filling with the remaining dough.

Bake the pie in the oven, preheated to 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. The exact time will depend on the features of your oven. The cake will rise and brown on top.

Cool the finished cake a little and release it from the mold.
