This aromatic mixture is prepared according to a traditional Georgian recipe from the best varieties of spices. Recipes with khmeli-suneli are passed down from generation to generation in the Caucasus. Khmeli-suneli recipes are considered an ideal seasoning for meat and poultry dishes. Fish dishes with the addition of this seasoning acquire a very original taste. Meat soups, broths and gravies with khmeli-suneli are also distinguished by their original taste and aroma. In addition, if we cook at home, we use suneli hops to prepare such famous Caucasian dishes as kharcho, satsivi, etc. In Georgian cuisine, each locality prepared its own aromatic seasonings for different dishes. For dishes made from meat, vegetables or poultry, sauces and gravies were made from certain sets of spices. In this, Georgian cuisine is very similar to Indian. Each dish has its own spices.
