Apple sauce

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make apple sauce for the winter? What are the best apple varieties to use? Sweet and sour late winter fruits are good for apple sauce. I took apples of different varieties, collected at the end of October in the garden.
STEP 2

Wash and dry the apples. Peel them.
STEP 3

Prepare the remaining ingredients: rinse the cilantro and hot pepper pods and dry with paper napkins. Peel the garlic and rinse the cloves in the same way. The amount of hot pepper can be increased or decreased depending on your taste preferences. Also replace the cilantro with fresh parsley if desired.
STEP 4

Cut the apples into slices and place in a small saucepan. Add cold water and place on the stove. At high heat, wait until it boils, then reduce the flame and cook for five to ten minutes.
STEP 5

At this time, chop the greens and garlic. Cut the pepper as desired. If necessary, remove the seeds from the pods; they add special bitterness and pungency. Since I like my apple sauce spicier, I left the seeds.
STEP 6

Using a large spoon, transfer the boiled apples into the blender bowl. Leave the apple juice, it may still come in handy.
STEP 7

Add salt, cilantro, hot pepper, garlic and suneli hops to the apples. Beat everything until smooth.
STEP 8

If you think the puree is too thick, add the required amount of apple juice. Mix everything until smooth. If your apples are too sour, add a pinch of sugar to the blender. Mix everything again, taste it and add the missing component if necessary.
STEP 9

Pour the applesauce into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and cook the puree for about five minutes, stirring occasionally.
STEP 10

Place the hot sauce into pre-sterilized jars and close with sterile lids. After the jars have cooled completely, put them in a cool, dark place for long-term storage. I store the sauce on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.
STEP 11

Serve with grilled meats, steaks, chops, kebabs and more.
STEP 12
