    Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, add the minced meat, salt and pepper it, pour in 60-80 grams of water and begin to knead it with a rolling pin, simmer until tender. Fry the chopped onion separately, then add it to the minced meat and mix. Place the minced meat on the pita bread. The layer should not be thick. You can divide the filling into three equal parts. Instead of minced meat, you can take ham, sausage, cheese or cottage cheese.

    Sprinkle cheese on top of the minced meat.

    Next comes chopped dill.

    Next, lay out the tomatoes cut into slices. Lubricate with mayonnaise.

    Roll the pita bread into a roll. Even if it breaks, it's okay.

The pie turns out DELICIOUS. But for some reason it took me 300g of pita bread and there wasn’t enough filling. I’ll keep stuffing my hand. Tancha, THANK YOU for the recipe! My family loves lavash, but I somehow overlooked recipes using it. We only made shawarma at home, but it turns out you can also make pie and rolls... I take it into my “arms”, I have room to use my imagination and experiment. I’m glad I decided to try it - I’m SATISFIED with the result.
