Soft cookies
Compared to crumbly shortbread, soft cookies are more loved and desired on the tables of many housewives, at least for the minimum of crumbs scattered around the apartment)) They have an almost biscuit-like structure, do not crumble or split with a light blow. These cookies are good to serve on their own, as well as with tea, coffee, or as a treat for unexpected guests or children.
There are many recipes for soft cookies, for every taste and from different products. You can make it sandier, thicker or thinner, curly, voluminous, flat, sweet or savory, with different fillings, with filling, in glaze or without all of the above.
The simplest recipe for soft cookies is 5 minutes, or five minutes. It is prepared with flour, sugar, eggs, butter or margarine, and baking powder. You can use anything as a flavoring: vanillin, cinnamon, turmeric, cocoa. All products are simply mixed with each other until smooth. The result is dough that does not stick to your hands. Then it is cut into equal pieces, given the desired shape and baked in the oven until cooked. When hot, the cookies will be tougher - you need to let them sit for a while.
If desired, you can also add raisins (steamed in advance), dried fruits, fresh berries, fruits, candied fruits, grated carrots, pumpkin, zucchini, grated chocolate to the dough. Each time there will be a new taste, but the same structure. It’s good to use small muffin tins for these cookies.
