Madeleine is a very tasty cookie originally from France, prepared in the form of shells. I have been chasing these molds for a very long time and finally I got lucky :), but you can make these cookies in any other form, for example, in the form of cupcakes, and their taste will not suffer at all. You can add many additives to this dough according to your taste - lemon juice and zest, ground nuts or just vanilla.

Cooking time: 1 hr 30 mins

Melt the butter and leave to cool.

Mix eggs with sugar and honey.
STEP 4
Gently whisk with a whisk for about 3 minutes until light foam forms.
STEP 5
Add sifted flour with baking powder, stir until smooth.
STEP 6
Add melted butter and a pinch of salt, mix everything.
STEP 7
Cover the bowl with cling film and place the dough in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
STEP 8
After this, fill the molds with dough (3/4 full).
STEP 9
Bake for 10 minutes: 1 minute at 240C, then reduce the temperature to 200C and bake for 4 minutes, reduce the temperature again to 180C and bake for another 5 minutes. Bon appetit!

My son asked for cookies, of course I opened my favorite website and started searching. My choice fell on the classic Madeleine cookies, just the right shapes, I thought. The dough is very easy to prepare. I really liked the taste of the cookies; they turned out very soft and tender with crispy crusts on the sides.

Super. Made it a little vegan. Instead of eggs, one banana, left the butter, added dry ready-made ice cream with cocoa with powdered sugar, and oatmeal flour. It turned out great. I put it straight into the molds 1/4 full. Otherwise it wouldn't have baked. Or the edges would burn. So the cooking time is approximately according to the recipe. You can take a little longer if you don’t have a thermometer and look through the glass. Super recipe. The soft livers are delicious. 16 pcs. Happened . Three pieces Already eaten. And I cooked on a grill in the middle and with two heaters on top and bottom. I have already laid out the finished ones on the baking sheet. Enjoy it for your health! Good luck to all!

I am absolutely delighted with the classic madeleine cookies!!! I will definitely make them again. I put 2 tsp. honey (I used chestnut), the cookies had such a rich honey taste! My first batch was a little overbaked (they were all brown), but my husband liked them even better) And I like these better)) tender, tender, with coffee it’s just a miracle !!!!!!!!

Yesterday I made classic Madeleine cookies, I’ve been wanting them for a long time, but for a long time I couldn’t buy the mold.. I really liked the cookies, although I overbaked the first batch a little, they were brown, but it didn’t affect the taste in any way.. The second batch was light, I’ll definitely make them beautiful I also want to try making it with nuts or other additives. Thank you
