  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make chocolate oatmeal cookies? Prepare all the necessary products. It’s better to take quick-cooking flakes, they will soften better and not be hard. Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance; it should become soft. The recipe is for chocolate chips, if you don't have any, use regular dark chocolate. Don't be surprised by the presence of salt; it will enhance the taste of the chocolate. Use high-quality cocoa, without additives.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Take a large bowl, place flour and cocoa powder sifted through a sieve. This will oxygenate the flour and break up the flour and cocoa chunks. Add cinnamon, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Mix all dry ingredients.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Place soft butter and sugar in another bowl. Grind them until smooth. You don't need to use a mixer, but use a regular silicone spatula. The goal is not to beat the products, but only to mix them well.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Add eggs to butter. Add them one at a time, mixing the mixture well after each one. Wash the eggs with baking soda first, as there may be harmful bacteria on their surface.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Pour the liquid part into the dry ingredients and stir.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

If you took chocolate instead of drops, then chop it into small pieces. Instead of dark chocolate, you can use milk chocolate.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Add chocolate and cereal to the dough. Stir. You will get a fairly thick homogeneous mass. Place the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes until the butter hardens slightly. This will make it easier to form the cookies. Since flour from different manufacturers does not have the same properties, you may need less or more of it, depending on the desired consistency of the dough.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Line a baking tray with baking paper. Use your hands to form round cookies, place them on a baking sheet, leaving space between them - the cookies will increase in size when baking. Lightly flatten the top of each cookie. I got 11 pieces.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Preheat the oven to 180°C, top-bottom mode. Bake cookies for about 15 minutes. The times are approximate, be guided by the features of your oven. Remove the finished cookies from the paper and cool on a wire rack. Bon appetit!

I wanted something tasty for tea. The choice fell on chocolate oatmeal cookies. I used a little more flour in the recipe than indicated. I took milk chocolate and simply cut it with a knife. I formed the cookies and placed them on a baking sheet covered with a silicone mat. During baking, the cookies expanded a little more in size, resulting in cookies with a rich chocolate flavor. Everyone liked it! Thanks for the wonderful recipe!

I really liked the recipe! Very light and tasty. They turned out no worse than store bought ones. Everything was snapped up. I took a photo of what was there. I took a recipe for 15 servings, but it turned out to be even 20. There was no cinnamon and chocolate, but it came off anyway. I put in a little less butter to make it healthier and more dietary :) A very tasty recipe! I recommend it to everyone
