Kurabye according to GOST
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Preparing the ingredients.
STEP 2

Remove the butter from the refrigerator in advance so that it becomes soft. Beat it with a mixer with sugar and egg.
STEP 3

Add sifted flour mixed with vanilla.
STEP 4

Knead into a soft sticky dough. The main thing is not to overdo it with flour; also, you should not knead the dough for a long time, otherwise the dough will be hard and will not be squeezed out of the pastry syringe, and the cookies will turn out hard and not crumbly.
STEP 5

To make kurabye cookies you will need a pastry syringe or pastry bag. Use the star tip to form cookies. Place them on a greased baking sheet. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
STEP 6

Make a small indentation on each cookie.
STEP 7

Place a teaspoon of thick gooseberry or any other jam (or preserves) in the middle. If the jam is liquid, add starch to it. Bake these cookies for 15 minutes. During this time it will brown slightly.
STEP 8

Remove the cookies, cool and serve with tea. Bon appetit!
