  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make pizza in a frying pan with sour cream? Prepare the ingredients. Start with the dough. Use sour cream with a fat content of 20%, not watery. Use premium wheat flour.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

In a bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise and eggs and mix well with a whisk until smooth.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Add sifted flour. Mix the dough again until smooth.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Depending on the moisture content of your sour cream, mayonnaise, and the size of the eggs, you may need more or less flour. Therefore, focus primarily on consistency. You should get a viscous, slightly flowing dough. Read about the properties of flour in the article below the steps.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Now prepare the sauce. You can find pizza sauce options in the link at the end of the recipe.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

In a bowl, combine ketchup, mayonnaise, spices.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

And stir until smooth. You can replace ketchup with tomato paste.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

And now the most delicious part - the filling. First remove the olives from the brine and dry. Check that there is no moisture left inside.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

Wash the bell pepper and cut into rings or strips.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Cut the boiled sausage into small thin slices.

  11. STEP 11

    STEP 11

Cut the tomatoes into thin slices. Since the diameter of the frying pan is smaller than the baking sheet, you don’t need very large tomatoes. Plum-shaped ones are ideal. Choose tomatoes that are juicy but firm. Soft fruits do not hold their shape well; during cutting and cooking, they will spread into a shapeless mass and spoil the appearance of the dish.

  12. STEP 12

    STEP 12

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.

  13. STEP 13

    STEP 13

Pour the dough into a large frying pan (26-30 cm in diameter) greased with vegetable oil and level it. Read how to choose a frying pan and oil for frying in a separate article at the end of this recipe.

  14. STEP 14

    STEP 14

Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, not reaching 1 cm from the edges.

  15. STEP 15

    STEP 15

Sprinkle grated cheese on top of the dough. You can save some of the cheese to sprinkle on the top of the pizza.

  16. STEP 16

    STEP 16

Distribute sausage, tomatoes, bell peppers, and olives over the surface of the dough. For taste and color, I added a little more sliced green chili pepper during the process. But this is optional.

  17. STEP 17

    STEP 17

Place the pan over low heat, cover with a lid and cook the pizza for about 15-20 minutes. Focus on the features of your stove. After 10-15 minutes, check the dough for readiness and, if necessary, keep it on the fire for more.

  18. STEP 18

    STEP 18

Sprinkle the finished pizza with basil leaves, cut into pieces and serve. Bon appetit!

I prepared pizza in a frying pan in 10 minutes with sour cream and mayonnaise for Sunday breakfast. This portion was just enough for four people. At first I thought that this option might not work, as all the ingredients wouldn’t have time to be prepared. But I took a risk, because... I trust Maria) I did everything strictly according to the recipe, carefully followed the steps and everything turned out great! The dough was perfectly baked, it was not at all wet, even a little porous. The filling had time to cook and the cheese had melted. For the filling I used boiled sausage, I had frozen bell peppers and tomatoes, I first doused them with hot water. There were no olives, and we don’t really like them) The pizza turned out very juicy and tasty, the cheese stretched so appetizingly. My daughter was especially happy when she received such a delicious treat for breakfast) The recipe is absolutely successful, I recommend it to everyone. Thank you!

I was looking for something so quick and tasty to whip up for dinner this evening. Got yours. Thanks for reminding me of this pizza recipe. Only I always put a little soda in the dough, and everything else is like yours. I didn’t have time to defrost the basil leaves, there’s clearly not enough green ones. We don’t like thick dough, so it’s enough for two pieces: 24cm. and 28cm. diameter

I made it about 10 years ago using a similar recipe - I didn’t like it. I’ve already made it 2 times according to your recipe and it’s a great success! It all depends on the thickness of the sour cream and mayonnaise. This makes a wonderful 28 cm pizza. Thank you very much!
