  1. STEP 1

    STEP 1

How to make Olivier salad with shrimp? Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Take large vegetables. Boil the shrimp in salted water in advance. The shrimp in the salad are weak, as they are overwhelmed by the taste of other products and mayonnaise. If you want a more pronounced taste of shrimp, add more. You can make your own mayonnaise. You will find recipes for homemade mayonnaise after the last step.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

Wash the potatoes and carrots thoroughly, preferably with a brush, to remove all dirt from the skin. Boil the vegetables in their jackets, peel them and cut them into cubes.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

Boil the eggs hard. Read about how to do this correctly in a separate article at the link at the end of the recipe. Cool the boiled eggs, peel them and cut them into cubes.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Wash the cucumber and also cut it into cubes. Olivier usually contains pickled or pickled cucumbers, but I don’t like the combination of pickled cucumbers and shrimp, so I replaced canned cucumbers with fresh ones. You can use any cucumbers you like. Drain the jar of peas.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

Place chopped potatoes, carrots, cucumber, eggs in a salad bowl, add peas and boiled shrimp.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Add mayonnaise to the rest of the ingredients.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Stir the salad. The salad can be served in portions, formed in culinary rings or simply in a salad bowl. If desired, garnish the salad with shrimp, green onions and parsley. Bon appetit!

I had some shrimp left and was wondering what I could cook with them. I found a recipe for Olivier salad with shrimp on the website. Olivier is the most favorite salad in my family, but I’ve never prepared it like this before. In peeled form, I didn’t get that many shrimp, only 100 grams. But I didn’t adjust the amount of other ingredients. Despite the small amount of shrimp, the salad still sparkled with new colors. Everything seems to be the same, but the taste is still a little different. Both me and my whole family liked this salad. I really liked this option, I will cook it again and will definitely add more shrimp. Maria, thank you very much for the great recipe!
