I bake cabbage pies often, mostly following one recipe. I wanted to diversify it somehow. I’ll say right away that the recipe is successful! The dough kneaded perfectly, it is pliable and easy to work with. I took all the products exactly according to the recipe. What was new was the addition of butter and sugar to the filling; I had never done this before. This significantly enriched the taste of the filling; it is creamier and more pleasant. But the household asked not to add boiled eggs; they love the cabbage filling in the pies. The dough turned out great, the dough also turned out well. I just greased the top with milk. The finished cake has risen significantly. The dough turned out super soft, porous, tender. On the second day it also remained soft. The filling is juicy, creamy, very tasty, you can even eat it without the pie) The pie is excellent! I recommend!

Today I baked a covered pie with cabbage. In my opinion, preparing such a pie is easier than making small pies. It turns out tasty and juicy! I mixed the dough for the pie with 125 ml of milk, which makes 6 servings. And I used the cabbage for the filling by eye. I didn’t add eggs to the filling; I wanted it to contain only vegetables - cabbage, carrots and garlic. By the way, I had never used garlic before, but with it the pie became more aromatic. The pie turned out wonderful! Ruddy, with a crispy and crumbly crumb, juicy, soft filling. Very tasty! Thank you very much for the recipe!
