Banana-curd manna cake with kefir
Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
Preparing the ingredients. The dough preparation process begins by combining dry ingredients in a bowl. Pour semolina into a bowl.
STEP 2
Add sifted flour.
STEP 3
Add sugar.
STEP 4
baking powder and vanillin. If there is no baking powder, you can safely replace it with half a teaspoon of soda combined with vinegar. Mix the dry ingredients well with a spoon.
STEP 5
Pour in kefir; it is better to take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is at room temperature. Stir the mixture until the dry ingredients are well mixed and combined with the liquid.
STEP 6
In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, but you don’t need fluffy foam, just stir the eggs with a fork until they become just a homogeneous mass. Pour the egg mixture into the bowl with the dough.
STEP 7
Melt the butter in a water bath (you can do this in the microwave) and pour it into the dough. Mix well and leave the dough for twenty minutes for the semolina to swell.
STEP 8
Grease the baking dish with butter, butter or vegetable oil. Place the dough into the mold with a tablespoon; it should be thick enough and flow into the spoons like a ribbon.
STEP 9
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, place the cake in it and bake for about 40 minutes. We check the readiness of the cake with a wooden stick; if it comes out of the dough dry, it means the cake is baked.
STEP 10
We take the finished cake out of the oven and let it cool right in the mold. Carefully remove the cooled cake from the mold and cut it into two parts. You can also cut it into more cake layers, but since the dough is very soft, you need to do this carefully so as not to crumble.
STEP 11
Preparing the cream. Using a blender, beat cottage cheese, cream, butter, vanillin and sugar. The amount of sugar can be increased or decreased to taste; do not add vanillin. Cut the bananas into slices 0.5 cm thick.
STEP 12
It is better to soak the cakes in sweet syrup so that they are well moistened. Then it won’t take much time to soak the cake in the refrigerator.
STEP 13
Grease each cake with curd cream, lay out banana slices.
STEP 14
We also grease the top of the cake with cream and decorate with banana. Serve. Enjoy your tea!
