Almost everyone can prepare pasta, beloved by all Italians, regardless of culinary skills. To do this, you need to find a good recipe for pasta with sauce, preferably with photos of the preparation steps. When searching, pay attention specifically to the composition of the sauce, because pasta in this dish, although the main ingredient, is easily replaceable. For example, instead of spaghetti, you can take shells, spirals, or vice versa.
Pasta sauce can be made with two ingredients: tomato paste (or tomatoes) and cream (or milk). There are, of course, other options, but these two are the most popular. You can also add any minced meat to both: meat, chicken, fish, mushroom, vegetable. And to make the dish authentic, it must be sprinkled with finely grated parmesan when it’s already prepared.
Any recipe for pasta with gravy begins by boiling the pasta until al dente, that is, until half cooked. In this form they are eaten in their “historical homeland”. But this is a matter of taste - everyone cooks as they want)) While the process is going on, there is time to make the sauce. If necessary, make cuts (usually small ones). If the composition includes onions, then start by frying them in butter or vegetable oil. Then other products (vegetables, mushrooms or minced meat) are added. Lastly, before adding spices, add tomatoes or cream.
If you need to thicken the sauce, you can add wheat flour dried in a dry frying pan. And take into account that when it cools, almost any gravy will become thicker (and most often it will have to be diluted with boiling water - if the dish is not eaten immediately, but put in the refrigerator until the next meal). By the way, pasta and sauce can be stored for quite a long time, especially if both are kept in separate containers. The sauce can be prepared in, say, 3-4 batches, and the pasta can be cooked in 1-2 batches. Then everything heats up wonderfully in the microwave.
