Fish in a frying pan
All fish recipes in a frying pan can be divided into three subcategories: stewing, frying and baking. Yes, just imagine, you can bake fish even outside the oven, however, for this you need to have a heavy and tight lid (and a flame divider is optional). This means that with only a frying pan and a stove, you can prepare fish dishes such as: casserole, stew, sauce, gravy, steaks, cutlets, pancakes, filled pancakes, pies, flatbreads, other main courses, as well as all kinds of hot appetizers.
If you plan to just fry, you will need a minimum of additional products: vegetable oil, salt, flour (or breadcrumbs) for breading. For stews, a sauce or gravy is often prepared, mixed with broth, cream, milk, water with the addition of tomato paste, sour cream, aromatic fish spices, vegetables, and so on.
Before cooking, fish must be thoroughly cleaned of all unnecessary things: fins, scales, and sometimes bones. And then rinse in water and dry with a paper towel so that when they come into contact with hot oil, the water particles do not begin to hiss and splash with hot oil splashes.
Each specific frying pan fish recipe has its own detailed description of the cooking process that must be followed. Photos of the stages will help beginners figure it out faster. There are ways to cook fish so that there are no bones in the finished dish, even if they were not removed in the first place. That is, the bones will become soft and will seem to dissolve, as happens with canned food.
