    To prepare this dish, you can take fillets of pangasius, cod, halibut or pollock. The fillets of any fish must be defrosted and allowed to drain excess liquid. Then cut the fish into portions.

    Heat the frying pan until hot and pour some vegetable oil onto it. Place floured fish in a hot frying pan. Fry it over high heat on both sides.

    Separately peel the onions and carrots. Chop the onion and grate the carrots on a coarse grater.

    Add chopped vegetables to the fish in the pan. Add a little salt to taste and sprinkle with fish spices. Add a little hot water, bring everything to a boil and cover with a lid. Turn the heat to medium and simmer the fish for 10-15 minutes until the vegetables become soft.

    Stewed pollock fillet becomes an almost homogeneous mass with vegetables. It turns out very soft and gentle.

For dinner I prepared fish stew with carrots and onions. I had pollock fillet. It's really quick and easy to cook! I rolled slices of fish fillet in flour and fried them in vegetable oil in a frying pan on both sides, adding grated carrots and chopped onions. I added salt, added my favorite spices, a little hot water and simmered until the vegetables were ready. Tasty, juicy, healthy! Great dinner! You can serve it with any side dish, but this time we did without it. Thanks for the recipe, Julia M!
