STEP 1

How to bake hake in foil in the oven? Prepare your food. Take frozen carcasses and defrost them according to all the rules. Clean the scales and remove the fins. Wash and peel the onions and carrots.
STEP 2

Cut the onion into half rings, grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
STEP 3

Finely chop clean and dried dill.
STEP 4

Cut the hake carcasses along the back so that they can be unfolded.
STEP 5

Carefully trim the backbone without cutting the fish in two.
STEP 6

Separate the spine from the fish fillet and carefully remove it.
STEP 7

Sprinkle the inside of the hake carcasses with salt and spices and brush with mayonnaise. To reduce the calorie content of the dish, you can replace mayonnaise with sour cream.

Sprinkle the hake with chopped dill on top of the mayonnaise.
STEP 9

Place a mixture of onions and carrots on the dill layer.
STEP 10

Grease onions and carrots with vegetable oil.
STEP 11

Fold the unwrapped hake carcasses in half so that the filling is inside.
STEP 12

Transfer the stuffed hake carcasses to foil and brush with vegetable oil on both sides.
STEP 13

Sprinkle the hake carcasses with dill, salt and spices and wrap in foil.
STEP 14

Place the hake carcasses wrapped in foil on a baking sheet.
STEP 15

Place the baking sheet with the hake in the oven and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. The exact time will depend on your oven and the size of the fish.
STEP 16

Remove the finished fish from the oven, let it cool slightly, then unwrap it and serve. Bon appetit!
