Stewed vegetables in a frying pan and more
There are two ways to cook vegetables in a frying pan: stew them or fry them. Both options have their own characteristics, which would be a good idea for a novice housewife to keep in mind. For example, frying almost any assorted vegetables always begins with frying the onions. Other products are gradually added to it - the whole process will be described in detail in a specific recipe. The fact is that fried onions give the whole dish a pleasant flavor. Moreover, in this form it will be less unpleasant for little capricious people who hate stewed onions.
Another little trick on how to improve the taste of vegetables in a frying pan is to cook them in butter rather than vegetable oil. Or any other animal fat.
It is also important to remember that all vegetables have their own cooking time, some longer, others shorter. And you need to put them on the frying pan in descending order of this time. If a certain ingredient will take a long time to cook, it is better to do it separately. For example, fry potatoes, and then add them to other vegetables in finished form.
If you need to fry/stew vegetables from frozen mixture sets, they are cooked together without sorting. To do this, melt the butter in a frying pan, add the vegetables that have already been left at room temperature and fry for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly. Raw and hard vegetables can be lightly cooked in boiling water beforehand (for example, cauliflower, pumpkin, etc.).
Vegetables fried on a grill pan are also very tasty.
