In our family, shawarma is one of our favorite snacks on a long road trip. Nourishing and tasty. I don’t make shawarma at home because I’m very bad at wrapping the filling in pita bread. But somehow I really wanted to spend the evening having dinner with shawarma and talking about past trips and future trips. I prepared the garlic sauce, took the available ingredients out of the refrigerator and handed them to my husband, asking him to make them beautifully. There were only cucumbers missing. I replaced the bell pepper with ground pepper. My husband decided to add grated carrots and lettuce to the filling. He also added hot capsicum to his shawarma. We don't have a grill pan, so we had to use a regular cast iron one. Shawarma with chicken in pita bread in a frying pan became a hearty and tasty dinner for our family. Thanks a lot!

However, I don’t make the sauce myself, but buy calve sauce (usually thousand islands), it turns out very tasty. You can also make vegetarian shawarma)
