I saw fresh chanterelles on sale and how I wanted to make these beautiful mushrooms for dinner. I prepared it strictly according to the recipe. I dried the chanterelles first, then washed them, boiled them for 15 minutes and fried them with onions. I added potatoes into strips and cooked as described in the recipe. By the way, the author gives excellent advice - cut potatoes need to be washed. Indeed, the potato straws did not break when stirring the dish during the cooking process. The only spices I added were salt and pepper. The dish is excellent. The mushrooms retained their shape and looked very appetizing. The aroma is amazing.
