STEP 1

How to fry a trout steak juicy in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients. It is better to take the steak fresh rather than frozen, then it will not be so dry. Use spices to suit your taste; you can add sprigs of rosemary or dried mint.
STEP 2

For frying, it is desirable that the width of the steak be 2-2.5 cm. Clean the fish steak from scales, if any, then rinse well under cold water and dry with paper towels. Salt and pepper the steak and leave for a while.
STEP 3

Pour vegetable oil into a frying pan and put on fire, throw thyme or thyme sprigs into the hot oil, leave for a couple of minutes.
STEP 4

Place the trout steak on top of the herbs and fry over medium heat for 3-4 minutes.
STEP 5

Turn the fish over to the other side and fry for another 3 minutes.
STEP 6

Cover the pan with a lid and reduce heat, steam the steak for another 3-4 minutes. Then turn off the stove. Juicy trout is ready. Serve the steak hot or cold, pouring lemon juice over it. Rice, vegetables, etc. are good as a side dish for fish.
