STEP 1
How to fry cod fish cutlets in a frying pan? Prepare the necessary ingredients for this. To prepare, take boneless fish fillet. If the fish is frozen, then it must be taken out of the freezer in advance and allowed to thaw at room temperature. The water must be drained after defrosting.
STEP 2
Cut the fish fillet into pieces and place in a chopper. Soak the loaf slices in milk. Then squeeze out the milk and grind the loaf along with the fish. Instead of a chopper, you can use a meat grinder.
STEP 3
Peel the onion, rinse in cold water and finely chop. Heat a frying pan until hot and pour in a little vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and fry it for 4-5 minutes until it starts to turn golden. At the end of frying, add a little butter to the onion. it will add a little creamy flavor.
STEP 4
The fried onion also needs to be chopped and placed in a bowl with the fish. then add the egg.
STEP 5
Add a little salt and spices to taste. For spices, I take a ready-made set of spices for fish. Stir.
STEP 6
The finished minced fish should be thick enough to make cutlets from it. If the minced meat is watery, you can add a little breadcrumbs, semolina, starch or flour to it.

Take some fish mass, roll in breadcrumbs and form into cutlets. Place a small piece of butter in each cutlet.
STEP 8
Fry fish cutlets in a small amount of vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes on each side. There is no need to make a big fire. The cutlets should have time to cook inside.
STEP 9
The finished cutlets will turn an appetizing golden color.
STEP 10
