Tuna and egg sandwich

Ingredients
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make a tuna and egg sandwich? Prepare your food. Any bread will do, I took a whole grain baguette, you can take special bread for sandwiches, and regular rye bread will be delicious. Canned tuna is tastier and healthier natural, without added oil. 250 grams is the usual weight of fish from a can. Take whatever salad and greens you like or have on hand. I have frisee and parsley.
STEP 2

Cut the bread into pieces. You can make small sandwiches, like closed sandwiches. Or you can make larger ones by simply cutting the baguette in half. I chose the second path. This makes them easier to transport if the sandwiches are being prepared for travel.
STEP 3

Toast the sliced bread on one side in a grill pan. You can skip this step, but sandwiches taste better on crusty bread. Do not grease the pan with anything, place the bread on a well-heated frying pan and keep it for several minutes until lightly browned. If you don’t have a grill pan, dry the bread in a regular pan; it’s not critical. A toaster or roaster is also suitable for these purposes.
STEP 4

While the bread is toasting, prepare the filling. Wash the cucumber and cut into thin slices.
STEP 5

Peel the boiled eggs from their shells. Break the fish and remove large bones. The bones of canned fish are very soft, but I still prefer to remove them. Place the fish and eggs in one plate and use a fork to mash them into a pate. Add mayonnaise to it. Stir. You don't have to use mayonnaise if you're following a healthy diet. Then you can pour in a little liquid from the canned food itself to make the filling juicier.
STEP 6

Rinse the lettuce leaves well under water and dry. It is convenient to do this in a special dryer for greens. If there is none, then blot the leaves with a paper or regular towel. Wash and dry the greens in the same way. Do not use wet greens; they will quickly lose their beautiful appearance, wet the other ingredients and ruin the dish.
STEP 7

Place lettuce leaves on the prepared bread. Place a thick layer of fish spread on top.
STEP 8

Place cucumber slices and herbs on the fish.
STEP 9

Top the sandwich with the other half of the bread. For convenience, you can fasten the halves of the bread with skewers. Serve the sandwiches to the table. Bon appetit!
