    STEP 1

How to make pizza on a loaf in the oven? The ingredients for pizza can be changed and selected according to your taste and the availability of products at home, the main thing is the presence of a loaf - the basis of a mini-pizza. The loaf does not have to be fresh; yesterday’s dried loaf will also do; it will be easier to cut it into thin pieces without crumbling it into crumbs.

  2. STEP 2

    STEP 2

You can use any loaf: wide, narrow, baguette; the narrower the loaf, the smaller the pizza will be. Place the prepared loaf pieces on a baking sheet lined with parchment.

  3. STEP 3

    STEP 3

It is better to use ketchup as a spread on the pizza base; it can be replaced with tomato paste if desired, and mayonnaise. Mix them in a bowl until the mixture is homogeneous in consistency. You can add salt and ground black pepper to taste, but as a rule, all pizza ingredients contain enough of these spices.

  4. STEP 4

    STEP 4

Peel the onions and cut into thin rings.

  5. STEP 5

    STEP 5

You can use any sausage: boiled, smoked or ham. Cut it into small cubes or thin strips.

  6. STEP 6

    STEP 6

Hard cheese is also suitable for any variety to taste. Grate it on a fine grater.

  7. STEP 7

    STEP 7

Spread the loaf pieces with a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise. Place onion slices on top.

  8. STEP 8

    STEP 8

Next are cubes of boiled sausage. If desired, those who like such additives can add several small cubes of pickled cucumber or olives.

  9. STEP 9

    STEP 9

And sprinkle with grated hard cheese.

  10. STEP 10

    STEP 10

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Bake the mini-pizzas for about 15 minutes. Remove them from the oven and serve them hot with tea, coffee or other drinks as desired. Bon appetit!

Makes a great hot appetizer for a snack! I also recommend this version of hot sandwiches.

I love such tasty treats, they cook quickly and the family is well-fed. It is especially convenient to prepare such mini pizzas for breakfast. Baking in the oven is also healthier than frying in oil. I didn't have a loaf, but I did have some fresh homemade French baguette bread that was a great substitute. I noticed that there is no need to skimp on the sauce, it soaks into the bread crumb and this makes the pizza juicier and more tender. I decided to use purple onions, they are sweeter. I put a few olive rings on a couple of pieces for those who like it. I baked it for exactly 10 minutes; if you leave it longer, the bread will dry out, it seems to me. And the cheese had already melted by this time. The mini pizzas turned out delicious! I would have added fresh tomatoes for more juiciness, but it turned out great this way too. I like the way the onions crunch; they are not fully cooked and become so appetizing among all this filling. Tasty and satisfying!

I made a mini pizza on a loaf in the oven for breakfast. So fast and so tasty! I cut the sausage into small cubes and grated the cheese on a fine grater. Mayonnaise mixed with tomato sauce. I smeared the loaf slices with sauce, laid out the sausage and cheese. I didn't add onions, because... my son doesn't like onions. Bake in the oven at 180° for 25 minutes. Juicy filling on a crispy bun, mm...very tasty! Thanks Snezhana for the recipe!
