Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1
How to make stuffed peppers in the oven in halves with cheese? Prepare the necessary products. You can use any mushrooms; instead of chicken, you can use minced meat or make the filling only from vegetables and mushrooms with cheese. Rinse the bulgur well and boil until tender.
STEP 2
Peel the champignons and cut into small cubes. Fry in a dry frying pan until half cooked. Please note that if you use other mushrooms, the method of preparing them may change (forest mushrooms, for example, will have to be boiled first, and frozen ones will have to be thawed).
STEP 3
Cut the chicken breast into small cubes. If desired, you can grind it through a meat grinder to make minced meat, but I prefer small pieces.
STEP 4
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 5
Finely chop the onion and greens.
STEP 6
Cut the pepper into two halves, remove the seeds and membranes.
STEP 7
Pour the remaining boiled bulgur, mushrooms, chopped breast, chopped herbs and onions and grated cheese into a bowl (reserve some of the cheese for sprinkling), season with sour cream and spices, mix everything.
STEP 8
Stuff the pepper halves with the resulting mixture.
STEP 9
Place the pepper blanks on a baking sheet lined with foil, parchment or a silicone mat. Sprinkle grated cheese on top.
STEP 10
Place the oven in a preheated oven at 180 degrees (turn it on 10-20 minutes before baking) for about 25-30 minutes. Time and temperature are approximate, use your equipment as a guide.
STEP 11
Place the finished peppers on a dish, garnish with herbs and cheese, serve with sour cream. Bon appetit!
