Shortbread onion pie
A hearty dish or an original side dish - your choice. The most difficult thing for me was to roll out the dough evenly.

Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

Melt one hundred and fifty grams of butter.
STEP 2

Mix a glass of flour into the hot oil.
STEP 3

Add two tablespoons of sour cream.
STEP 4

Wrap the finished dough in film and put it in the refrigerator.
STEP 5

Cut the onion into thin half rings.
STEP 6

Fry in vegetable oil until golden brown (if desired, you can fry it stronger, add salt to taste, add turmeric.
STEP 7

To fill, beat sour cream with two eggs.
STEP 8

Take the dough out of the refrigerator and roll it out into a layer. This amount of dough is enough for a mold with a diameter of 24 centimeters. We form sides of 1.5-2 centimeters.
STEP 9

Lay out the onions.
STEP 10

Fill with sour cream and egg mixture. If the sides are too high, they can be bent inward.
STEP 11

Cook in an oven preheated to 150 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Yesterday I made onion pie according to your recipe. I really liked the pie!!! The pie turned out aromatic, very tasty and tender. The only thing is that the bottom turned out a little fatty, since there was a lot of sunflower oil left in the fried onions. But this is my mistake, I’ll correct it next time Tatyana, but I wanted to ask you about the test. The recipe calls for 150 g of melted butter, a glass of flour and 2 tablespoons of sour cream. I took 130 g of butter, I often take a little less butter, but I had to add another 3 heaped tablespoons of flour, the dough was just liquid. Maybe there was a mistake somewhere in the recipe? I just wanted to draw your attention))) Tatyana, thank you very much for the recipe, this is the pie I got
