You can add or replace the vegetable part to your liking. You can replace red onions with regular onions. The same goes for spices.

    Rinse the liver thoroughly until the water becomes clear, remove fatty layers and remaining bile. Unremoved bile will give the liver bitterness. Cut the liver into small pieces. You can take fresh or frozen liver. The frozen product must first be defrosted on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator.

    Peel the bell pepper from seeds and stems and cut into strips.

I prepared a salad with beef liver and onions. I used leaf lettuce for cooking, which I tore with my hands. Red sweet bell pepper cut into short strips. Peeled the purple onion and cut it into half rings. I combined everything in a bowl. I divided the liver into two layers and did not cut it into pieces - I was afraid of the toughness. I beat the liver with a hammer through a bag to make it softer. Fry over high heat on both sides for a total of 5 minutes. Then I added salt and pepper. I cut the cooled liver into slices and added it to the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Added a little more salt and sprinkled with oil. Served it straight to the table. I also garnished it with French mustard and green onions. The salad looks very beautiful, smells nice and tastes amazing. The liver is tender, juicy and soft.
