STEP 1

How to cook stew from potatoes, cabbage, carrots, onions? Prepare all the products indicated in the recipe. The set of vegetables can be very diverse, at your discretion.
STEP 2

Peel carrots, potatoes, garlic and onions. You can exclude garlic from the recipe, it’s a matter of taste. Remove any damaged outer leaves from the cabbage. Rinse everything under running water and dry with paper napkins.
STEP 3

Next, chop all the vegetables. The cutting method can be any. It will be better if you chop the vegetables into equal-sized pieces, then the finished dish will look more appetizing. So, cut the onion into cubes and the potatoes into slices.
STEP 4

Heat odorless vegetable oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan. Send the potatoes and onions to fry. Cook over high heat, stirring occasionally, for about five minutes (until the onions and sides of the potatoes are lightly golden).
STEP 5

At this time, chop the cabbage into squares and the carrots into semicircles.
STEP 6

Add cabbage and carrots to the pan. Stirring, fry again for about five minutes. Add salt to taste, reduce the heat on the stove to moderate, cover the frying pan with a lid and leave until all the ingredients are fully cooked. It took me about 10-15 minutes. It is important not to overcook the vegetables on the stove, otherwise they will turn into mush.
STEP 7

At the end of cooking, open the lid, add chopped garlic and fresh herbs to the stew. Pepper to taste. I added a few thin red onions. Stir everything again, hold on the stove for a few seconds and remove the pan from the heat.

Ready! You can serve!
