STEP 1
For the potato dough, peel the potatoes, wash them, dip them in a pan of boiling water and boil until tender for 30 minutes. Drain the water, add salt and crush. Let the mashed potatoes cool slightly.
STEP 2
While the puree is cooling, prepare the filling. Fry chopped onion and minced meat in vegetable oil (1 tablespoon), add salt to taste. Simmer while stirring for 5-7 minutes over medium heat.
STEP 3
Beat the egg into the cooled puree and add the sifted flour.
STEP 4
Mix everything well with a fork, kneading the potato dough. Do not add any more flour so as not to clog the dough with it. This amount of dough will make 5 large zrazas.
STEP 5
With wet hands, take about a fifth of the dough, form a flat cake, and put the filling in the middle.
STEP 6
We pinch the edges so that the filling is not visible. We are preparing the following zrazy.
STEP 7
Dip the pieces in breadcrumbs on all sides.
STEP 8
Heat the vegetable oil well in a frying pan - pour enough oil so that it reaches halfway. We make fire more than average and lay out the frizes. Our dough and filling are ready, you just need to wait for the crust to appear. Fry on both sides until browned - about 1-1.5 minutes. Fry all the preparations.
STEP 9
Fried zrazy can be removed from the pan and immediately placed on a paper towel to absorb excess fat.
