How to make a delicious pie with cottage cheese and cheese? Start by preparing the necessary ingredients for the filling. It is better to take cottage cheese that is not dry, with a fat content of 5% or more. The fattier the cottage cheese, the tastier the pie will be. Cottage cheese in briquettes is suitable. Large, selected eggs are needed. If the eggs are small, take 3 pieces. Cheese - any kind. You can use regular Russian type, Gouda or Suluguni, mozzarella for pizza.

Wash the dill, dry and finely chop. In addition to dill, you can also take other greens - parsley, cilantro, green onions or a mixture of different herbs.

If your cottage cheese is not in briquettes, but in lumps, rub it through a sieve or mash thoroughly with a fork.

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
STEP 5

In a bowl, combine cottage cheese, eggs and cheese. Mix everything thoroughly.

Add chopped dill and garlic cloves passed through a press. If you want the pie to have a milder taste, you can add less garlic or not add it at all. Add salt carefully and only after you have tasted the filling. Usually the cheese already contains enough salt and additional salt can ruin the dish, especially since the dough will already be salty.

Mix well again. The result will be a fairly thick mass. The filling is ready.
STEP 8

Now start preparing the dough. Take the highest grade flour, eggs - first category, or select ones. The butter should be at room temperature, so remove it from the refrigerator in advance.

Combine the eggs with soft butter and mix. Don't even try to beat until smooth - the butter does not combine with the liquid ingredients. It will still float in small droplets on the surface.

Add sifted flour, salt and baking powder.
STEP 11

Knead soft elastic dough. There is no need to knead the shortbread dough for a long time; it will quickly come off both from your hands and from the dishes. Depending on the type of flour, the size of the eggs, you may need more or less flour. I added 1 more tbsp. l.The dough turns out soft, like fluff, and very pliable.
STEP 12

Spread the dough over the bottom and sides of a parchment-lined and greased springform pan or baking ring (Ø 20-22 cm). I have a culinary ring with a diameter of 20 cm. There should be no damage to the dough through which the filling could leak out.
STEP 13

Place the cheese and curd filling on the dough and smooth it out. Bake the pie in an oven preheated to 180°C for about 45 minutes. The exact baking time depends on your oven and the thickness of the cake. Halfway through the process, it is advisable to turn the cake over to the other side so that it bakes evenly.
STEP 14

Place the finished pie on a plate and serve hot or chilled. Bon appetit!
