Oatmeal cookies with apple without flour
Step-by-step preparation
STEP 1

How to make oatmeal apple cookies without flour? Prepare the necessary ingredients. Use smaller oatmeal to make the cookies more uniform and soft. Instant cereal (extra) with a cooking time of 1 to 3 minutes is better suited for this. You can also take cereal in portioned bags for quick brewing. You can make flour yourself by grinding the flakes using a coffee grinder.
STEP 2

Combine soft butter with sugar, egg and beat with a mixer until fluffy. The mass should increase slightly in volume due to the egg. Buy high-quality, natural butter, without milk fat substitutes.
STEP 3

Add cinnamon, vanilla sugar, nutmeg, baking powder and salt to the butter mixture. Whisk everything again.
STEP 4

Sift oatmeal into the mixture, add oatmeal and mix everything until smooth. It is necessary to sift the flour. Firstly, it may contain unground or poorly ground particles, and secondly, during sifting, the flour is saturated with oxygen and the cookies will turn out more airy.
STEP 5

The end result should be a sticky, dense dough. Therefore, it is better to mix with a spatula or spoon. Leave the dough for 5 minutes so that the flakes soak.
STEP 6

Finely chop the walnuts or grind them in a blender into fine crumbs, depending on what you like best. In the first case, pieces of nuts will be clearly felt, in the second version they will become indistinguishable from the overall structure of the dough. I ground the nuts in a coffee grinder.
STEP 7

Wash the apples, remove the seeds. If you wish, you can peel them. Cut the pulp into small cubes. For cookies, it is better to use sour or sweet and sour apples, for example Semirenko or Granny Smith varieties, that is, apples with green skin. The tart apples will create a flavor contrast with the sweet dough and nuts, and the cookies will turn out especially delicious. But you can, of course, use any other apples you like.
STEP 8

Add chopped nuts and apples to the dough and mix.
STEP 9

Roll the dough into small round balls, approximately the size of a walnut, with wet hands. Place the balls on a parchment-lined baking sheet at a distance from each other. Place the oatmeal cookies in an oven preheated to 180°C for 15-20 minutes until a golden crust appears on the surface.
STEP 10

Remove the finished oatmeal cookies from the oven, transfer to a dish and serve. Bon appetit!
